

Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion
The LEAD Program is a collaboration involving diverse partners such as the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, the Seattle City Attorney's Office, the Seattle Police Department, and The Defenders Association. This program transforms the approach to handling repeat, low-level drug-related offenses in Seattle by offering a comprehensive array of services instead of incarceration. POCAAN plays a vital role by providing essential case management and service access support for LEAD Clients.

About the Project
LEAD is committed to collaborating with law enforcement to connect individuals to community support at the time of. This strategic approach effectively disrupts the cycle of behavioral health within the criminal justice system and utilizes a harm reduction model to empower participants in achieving stability within their communities.
